Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including medical history reviews, physical examinations, and diagnostic testing.
Manage and treat a wide range of gynaecological conditions, including menstrual disorders, infertility, hormonal imbalances, and reproductive tract infections.
Provide comprehensive prenatal, antenatal, and postnatal care for pregnant patients.
Perform and oversee emergency obstetric procedures, including cesarean sections (C-sections), with a focus on maternal and neonatal safety.
Carry out elective and emergency gynecological surgeries, including hysterectomies, ovarian cystectomies, and other laparoscopic and open surgical interventions.
Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records and ensure compliance with hospital and regulatory documentation standards.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including obstetricians, neonatologists, anesthesiologists, and nursing staff, to deliver coordinated patient care.
Participate in hospital rounds, case discussions, and on-call duties as required.
Stay current with medical advancements, clinical guidelines, and best practices in gynecology and obstetrics.
Contribute to patient education initiatives, promoting reproductive health awareness and preventive care.
Requirements
MBBS degree with a recognized postgraduate qualification in Obstetrics and Gynecology (MD/DM/DNB in OBGYN).
Valid registration with the Medical Council of India (MCI) or relevant state medical council.
Minimum of 1 year of postgraduate clinical experience in a hospital or clinical setting.
Proven expertise in managing OPD cases, including high-risk pregnancies and gynecological emergencies.
Demonstrated proficiency in performing C-sections and hysterectomies, including both laparoscopic and open surgical techniques.
Strong understanding of maternal-fetal medicine, reproductive health, and family planning services.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with patients and families.
Ability to work effectively under pressure, manage multiple cases, and maintain composure during emergencies.
