The Gynecologist provides comprehensive care for women's reproductive health, managing gynecological conditions, pregnancy, childbirth, and preventive wellness.
Roles & Responsibilities
Diagnose and treat disorders of the female reproductive system.
Manage pregnancies, conduct deliveries, and provide antenatal/postnatal care.
Perform gynecological surgeries (C-sections, hysterectomies, etc.).
Conduct routine screenings, pap smears, and preventive health checkups.
Educate patients on reproductive health, family planning, and wellness.
Maintain accurate medical records and ensure patient confidentiality.
Qualifications Required
MBBS with MD/MS/DNB in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
Valid medical license and registration with the medical council.
Clinical experience in gynecology and obstetrics practice.
Skills Needed
Strong diagnostic and surgical skills.
Excellent communication and patient counseling abilities.
Ability to handle emergencies during pregnancy and childbirth.
Compassionate and empathetic patient care.
