Role Summary

The Gymnastics Coach is responsible for planning, organizing, and conducting gymnastics training sessions for students, focusing on skill development, physical fitness, discipline, and safety. The coach will prepare students for inter-school, district, state, and national-level competitions while promoting sportsmanship and overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and conduct structured gymnastics training sessions as per students' age and skill levels Teach basic to advanced gymnastics skills, including floor exercises, balance, flexibility, strength, and coordination Ensure strict adherence to safety guidelines and proper use of gymnastics equipment Identify and nurture talented students for competitive gymnastics Prepare students for school events, competitions, and championships Monitor students' progress and provide regular feedback to students and parents Maintain discipline and encourage teamwork, confidence, and sportsmanship Keep records of attendance, performance, and training schedules Assist in organizing gymnastics demonstrations, sports days, and school events Coordinate with school authorities and sports coordinators regarding training plans and requirements Ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance of the gymnastics area and equipment

Eligibility & Qualifications

Certification or Diploma in Gymnastics Coaching from a recognized sports authority/federation Bachelor's degree in Physical Education (B.P.Ed/M.P.Ed) preferred Proven experience as a Gymnastics Coach, preferably in a school or academy setup Knowledge of FIG rules and competition standards (preferred) First-aid and injury management knowledge is an added advantage

Strong technical knowledge of gymnastics techniques Excellent communication and motivational skills Ability to work with children of different age groups High level of patience, discipline, and professionalism Good physical fitness and stamina Ability to ensure student safety at all times

Working Hours

As per the school schedule and training requirements, including practice sessions and competitions.

Remuneration

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From ?20,000.00 per month
