Job Description

Key Responsibilities1. Coaching & Training

Teach gymnastics techniques including balance, tumbling, flexibility, and strength training. Conduct warm-up, stretching, and fitness sessions. Train students according to their age group and skill level. Prepare routines for annual functions, displays, and competitions.

2. Safety & Supervision

Ensure safety measures during practice. Guide students on how to use gymnastics equipment properly. Prevent injuries by teaching correct posture and landing techniques. Monitor and assess students during practice sessions.

3. Planning & Curriculum

Develop age-appropriate training programs. Maintain lesson plans and practice schedules. Track student performance, improvement, and progress.

4. Event & Competition Preparation

Prepare students for inter-school, district, state, and national level competitions. Organize internal gymnastics events and school sports days. Create performance routines and coordinate rehearsals.

5. Equipment Management

Inspect equipment regularly (mats, beams, bars, vaults, etc.). Report repair or replacement needs. Ensure all gymnastics apparatus is safe and properly maintained.

6. Classroom & Behavior Management

Maintain discipline, order, and a positive training environment. Encourage teamwork, sportsmanship, and confidence among students.

7. Communication & Administration

Provide feedback to students and parents on performance. Maintain attendance and assessment records. Coordinate with the sports department and school administration.

Required QualificationsEducational & Professional

Bachelor's degree in Physical Education (B.P.Ed/M.P.Ed)

preferred

Diploma/Certification in Gymnastics Coaching (SGFI/SAI/NIS or recognized institute) Experience as a gymnastics coach or trainer (1-3 years preferred)

Skills Required

Strong knowledge of gymnastics techniques Ability to train children safely Good communication and motivational skills Physical fitness and stamina Patience, discipline, and leadership qualities First-aid knowledge (preferred)

Work Schedule

Full-time (school hours) Extra hours during competitions/practice (if needed)
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
