A Gym Service Engineer installs, maintains, and repairs fitness equipment, handling mechanical/electrical issues like motors, belts, and control boards, ensuring safety and performance through on-site service, preventative maintenance, and detailed reporting, requiring strong troubleshooting skills, technical knowledge (Mechanical/Electronics), and customer service abilities to support gyms and clients.

Responsibilities :

Installation & Setup: Set up new equipment, ensuring proper connection and functionality. Maintenance: Perform routine checks, lubrication, and preventative maintenance. Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose and fix complex mechanical (belts, frames) and electronic (control boards, sensors) problems. Customer Support: Respond to service calls, provide end-user training, and ensure customer satisfaction. Documentation: Manage service reports, track parts used, and update system records. Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and ensure equipment meets standards.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

Technical Skills: Strong mechanical & electrical knowledge, familiarity with hand/power tools, understanding of fitness equipment. Education: Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics Engineering, or ITI certification preferred. Experience: Previous experience in fitness equipment maintenance is a plus. Soft Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, time management, and ability to work independently. Certifications: OEM training or relevant technical certs are advantageous.

Work Environment:

Often involves travel for on-site visits to various gym locations. Physically demanding, requiring lifting and working in dynamic environments.
