Position Overview:



As the first point of contact for members and visitors, the Gym Receptionist plays a pivotal role in delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring smooth front desk operations, and maintaining a welcoming environment within the fitness facility.

Key Responsibilities:



Member Engagement:

Greet and check in members and guests promptly, ensuring a friendly and professional first impression.

Communication:

Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and handle in-person inquiries regarding gym services, schedules, and membership details.

Scheduling:

Manage appointments for personal training sessions, group classes, and other gym services, coordinating with trainers and instructors as needed.

Membership Management:

Process new memberships, renewals, cancellations, and updates, maintaining accurate member records.

Sales Support:

Assist in promoting and selling gym memberships, services, and merchandise, providing information on current promotions and offerings.

Administrative Duties:

Perform clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, and processing payments, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded.

Facility Maintenance:

Ensure the reception area and surrounding spaces are clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.

Issue Resolution:

Address and resolve member concerns or complaints in a professional manner, escalating issues to management when necessary.

Safety Compliance:

Monitor gym access, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and gym policies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:



Customer Service Excellence:

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse individuals.

Organizational Abilities:

Excellent time management and multitasking skills to handle various tasks efficiently.

Technical Proficiency:

Basic computer skills, including familiarity with gym management software and point-of-sale systems.

Attention to Detail:

Accuracy in data entry, scheduling, and financial transactions.

Problem-Solving:

Ability to address and resolve issues promptly and professionally.

Physical Stamina:

Capability to stand for extended periods and perform light physical tasks as needed.

Flexibility:

Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
