: EPC Head- Power EPC and Metering Business Unit, Gurgaon

Position Overview

: The position of Engineering and Design Manager will be based in Gurgaon with prime responsibility for making Engineering drawings/Drawings and technical specifications/ Guaranteed technical particulars of Power EPC business and support tendering team of BESS and metering solutions which will be based in Africa

The ideal candidate should have a strong /hands on background in the Power EPC technical knowledge of process/products with preferred exposure in testing/erection and commissioning activities

Key Responsibilities

:
1. Experience in design/engineering of EHV Substation Design & Engineering
2. Substation Switching Schemes, SLD, layouts and related design calculations of Primary Engineering for AIS & GIS to meet Statutory Compliances.
3. Secondary Engineering for right selection & sizing of auxiliary systems of Switchyard, Protection system and integrated solution comprising of SCADA and Automation.
4. Total material list, Packages & its BoQ , Technical specification for Purchase Deptt.
5. Validation/preparation of Guaranteed technical particulars of equipment and technical vetting of products
6. Techno-commercial match of vender order with customer specification and site requirement.
7. Preliminary design study for bids, prepare BoQ and cost estimate.
8. Design review skills for civil engineering interface on site applications and proactive audit.
9. Familiar with IT and communication software for digital output from auxiliary systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering(preferred). Additional qualifications in field of Bid management will be preferred. 10-15 years of experience in the power EPC Design and Engineering , technical tendering and bidding support for making turnkey/EPC /BOOT tenders especially in substations/T&D and solar projects Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of Auto CAD, IS/BS/IEC standards and ability to discuss engineering related subjects with client and provide technical clarifications to site team * Good knowledge in Excel/Power points etc
