The Gujarati Teacher is responsible for teaching Gujarati language and literature to students. This includes developing reading, writing, grammar, and comprehension skills, as well as promoting the cultural and linguistic heritage of the Gujarati language.
Key Responsibilities
Teach Gujarati language and literature as per the school curriculum.
Plan and deliver well-structured lessons covering reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, and comprehension.
Teach prose, poetry, essays, and other literary forms.
Prepare students for exams, class tests, and assessments.
Assign and evaluate homework, classwork, and projects.
Provide remedial classes to support slow learners when required.
Encourage students to improve their handwriting, fluency, and communication skills in Gujarati.
Organize language-related activities such as storytelling, essay writing, elocution, and cultural programs.
Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment.
Keep student records, attendance, and performance reports updated.
Collaborate with other teachers for academic planning and school events.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Gujarati / Education (B.A./M.A. in Gujarati, B.Ed preferred).
Strong command over Gujarati grammar and literature.
Excellent reading, writing, and speaking skills.
Good communication and classroom management abilities.
Ability to create engaging and student-friendly lesson plans.
Work Experience
1-3 years of teaching experience preferred (flexible as per institution).
