Responsibilities
As a Guidewire Tester, your key contributions will include:

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams - developers, analysts, and business stakeholders - to establish test strategies for Guidewire InsuranceNow applications.
• Developing and executing robust test plans covering functional, regression, integration, system, and performance testing.
• Designing and conducting manual/automated test cases while identifying and troubleshooting software defects efficiently.
• Maintaining detailed testing documentation like test plans, cases, and defect logs for traceability and audits.
• Leveraging issue-tracking tools to effectively report and resolve software bugs.
• Staying abreast of the latest Guidewire updates, trends, and methodologies for continuous improvement.
• Mentoring junior team members, fostering their growth, and promoting a collaborative environment.

Requirements
To excel in this role, you should have:

• Experience: 5-9 years in Guidewire testing, with at least 3+ years focused on InsuranceNow applications within the insurance domain.
• Technical Proficiency:

• Expertise in tools like Selenium, JIRA, HP ALM, TestNG, or other testing frameworks.
• Advanced knowledge of test automation, testing methodologies, and defect lifecycle management.
• Familiarity with SQL for backend validation and system log analysis.
• Domain Knowledge: Robust understanding of insurance operations, policy management systems, and InsuranceNow solutions.
• Soft Skills:

• Strong analytical mindset and impeccable attention to detail.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and teamwork skills.
• Adaptability within a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
• Certifications: Guidewire or related professional certifications will be a plus.
