Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced

Guidewire Testing Specialist

to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in testing Guidewire applications (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter), with hands-on experience in automation and functional testing. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with excellent analytical and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:



Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for Guidewire applications (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter). Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing. Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure test coverage. Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA or ALM. Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, TestNG, or similar. Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes. Ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices.

Requirements




6-10 years of experience in software testing with at least 3+ years in

Guidewire Testing

.


Strong knowledge of

Guidewire modules

- PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and/or ClaimCenter.


Experience with

Guidewire Digital Portal Testing

is a plus.


Proficiency in

automation testing tools

(e.g., Selenium, UFT, TestNG).


Experience with

API testing

using tools like Postman or SoapUI.


Familiarity with

Agile methodologies

and tools like JIRA, Confluence.


Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:



Guidewire certification (if any). Experience in insurance domain processes and workflows. Exposure to CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git, etc.
