We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Guest Service Associate - Housekeeping to join our team in Gandhinagar, India. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction in our hotel.
Clean and maintain guest rooms, public areas, and assigned spaces according to established standards and procedures
Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and concerns
Ensure proper stocking and organization of housekeeping carts and supply areas
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to supervisors
Collaborate with team members to achieve departmental goals and maintain a positive work environment
Adhere to all safety and security protocols, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment
Assist in deep cleaning projects and special assignments as needed
Maintain accurate records of cleaned rooms and completed tasks
Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on best practices and new procedures
Contribute to creating a welcoming and comfortable environment for all guests
Qualifications
Proven experience in housekeeping or a similar role in the hospitality industry preferred
In-depth knowledge of cleaning techniques, procedures, and safety standards
Proficiency in using various housekeeping equipment and chemicals
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
Excellent communication skills and ability to interact professionally with guests and team members
Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks and stand for extended periods
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
Flexible schedule with availability to work weekends, holidays, and different shifts as required
Basic problem-solving skills and ability to report maintenance issues effectively
Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to assist colleagues when needed
Time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Basic understanding of hotel operations and guest service standards
Commitment to ongoing learning and improvement in housekeeping practices
