Provide menu recommendations and assist guests in making informed food and beverage choices.
Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests with efficiency and courtesy.
Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through personalized and attentive service.
Order Taking and Delivery:
Take accurate food and beverage orders from guests.
Input orders into the point-of-sale (POS) system.
Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders.
Present and serve food and beverages to guests according to established standards.
Quality Control:
Monitor food and beverage quality to ensure it meets the established standards.
Address any issues or discrepancies with orders promptly and professionally.
Conduct regular checks on table setup, cleanliness, and ambiance.
Upselling and Promotion:
Promote special menu items, promotions, and upsell additional items to enhance the guest experience.
Provide information on daily specials and recommendations.
Team Collaboration:
Work collaboratively with kitchen, bar, and other staff to ensure seamless service.
Communicate effectively with team members to relay guest preferences and special requests.
Cash Handling:
Process guest payments accurately.
Handle cash, credit cards, and other forms of payment in accordance with established procedures.
Cleaning and Maintenance:
Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of dining areas, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
Assist in setting up and breaking down tables for service.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a similar role in the hospitality industry is preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations calmly.
Knowledge of food and beverage items, including menu items and ingredients.
Basic math and cash-handling skills.
Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems.
Education:
A high school diploma or equivalent is typically required. Additional training in hospitality or F&B service is a plus.
