We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Guest Service Associate - F&B Service to join our team in Mumbai, India. As a key member of our food and beverage department, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests.
Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring their comfort throughout their visit
Take accurate food and beverage orders, demonstrating thorough knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods
Serve food and beverages promptly and efficiently, adhering to established service standards
Anticipate guest needs and respond proactively to requests or concerns
Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including tables, service stations, and equipment
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment
Process payments accurately and handle cash transactions with attention to detail
Comply with all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation policies and procedures
Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance service quality and product knowledge
Adapt to changing customer demands and peak service periods with flexibility and efficiency
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 3 years of experience in food and beverage service, preferably in a high-volume restaurant or hotel setting
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on anticipating and meeting guest needs
Thorough knowledge of food and beverage service standards and etiquette
Proficiency in operating point-of-sale (POS) systems
Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating bills
Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and carry trays of food and beverages
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Certification from a reputable culinary or hospitality school is a plus
