The Guest Service Associate is responsible for delivering exceptional dining experiences by providing courteous, prompt, and professional service to guests. This role ensures that guests feel welcome, attended to, and satisfied throughout their visit, while maintaining restaurant standards of cleanliness, efficiency, and hospitality.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables.
Present menus, explain specials, and assist guests with menu selections when needed.
Take and relay accurate food and beverage orders to the kitchen and bar.
Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally.
Check with guests to ensure satisfaction and address any issues or requests promptly.
Clear and reset tables efficiently for the next guests.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining and service areas.
Coordinate with kitchen and other service staff to ensure smooth operations.
Handle guest complaints or escalate them to the supervisor when necessary.
Follow all safety, hygiene, and service quality standards.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality training preferred.
Prior experience in guest service, restaurant, or hospitality (1-2 years preferred).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Positive attitude, well-groomed appearance, and courteous behavior.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong teamwork and problem-solving abilities.
Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
