We are looking for a qualified and enthusiastic Part-Time Faculty Member to teach Hospitality Management courses. The candidate should have strong academic knowledge and practical experience in the hospitality, tourism, or travel industry, and be committed to delivering engaging and effective learning experiences to students.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct theory and practical sessions in Hospitality and Travel Management.
Prepare lesson plans, course materials, and assessments as per the syllabus.
Guide and mentor students in academic and professional development.
Conduct internal exams, evaluations, and maintain academic records.
Support the department in organizing seminars, workshops, and industry interactions.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and integrate them into teaching.
Deliver undergraduate and/or postgraduate courses in hospitality-related subjects such as:
Hotel Operations Management
Food & Beverage Management
Front Office & Housekeeping Operations
Hospitality Marketing & Sales
Tourism Management
Event Management
Revenue & Yield Management
Customer Service & Guest Experience
Prepare lesson plans, lecture materials, case studies, and practical demonstrations.
Use innovative teaching methodologies, including experiential learning, simulations, role plays, and industry-based projects.
Integrate current industry trends, technologies, and best practices into teaching.
Conduct practical labs, workshops, and field visits where required.
Student Assessment & Academic Support
Design and evaluate assessments, examinations, projects, and presentations.
Provide timely and constructive feedback to students.
Mentor and advise students on academic progress, career development, and internships.
Supervise student research projects, dissertations, or capstone projects (if applicable).
Curriculum Development & Academic Quality
Participate in curriculum design, revision, and continuous improvement in line with industry needs and accreditation standards.
Ensure course content aligns with institutional learning outcomes and regulatory requirements.
Contribute to accreditation, audits, and quality assurance processes.
Develop course outlines, learning outcomes, and assessment rubrics.
Industry Engagement & Professional Development
Maintain strong links with the hospitality and tourism industry.
Facilitate guest lectures, industry visits, internships, and placement opportunities.
Participate in faculty development programs, workshops, and training.
Stay updated with emerging trends, technologies, and practices in hospitality management.
Research & Scholarly Activities
Conduct academic or applied research in hospitality, tourism, or related areas.
Publish research papers, case studies, or articles in journals or industry publications.
Present research findings at conferences, seminars, or workshops.
Contribute to funded research or consultancy projects where applicable.
Institutional Service & Administration
Participate in departmental and institutional committees.
Assist with admissions, student orientation, examinations, and academic events.
Support marketing and outreach activities such as open days, seminars, and workshops.
Contribute to the overall academic and cultural development of the institution.

Pay: ?500.00 - ?550.00 per hour
Experience:
