Job Description

The candidate will be responsible for handling GST return filing, reconciliations, and addressing day-to-day queries of clients related to GST compliance, including e-way bills and e-invoicing. A strong grasp of recent amendments and the ability to explain them clearly to clients is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-6) on behalf of clients

Conduct GSTR-2B vs. books reconciliation, identify mismatches, and communicate resolutions

Assist clients with day-to-day GST issues such as:

E-way bill generation, validity, and amendments

E-invoicing setup, IRN generation, and portal troubleshooting

Interpret and apply recent amendments, circulars, and notifications under the GST regime

Educate clients on compliance updates and help them implement necessary changes

Collaborate with internal teams and senior CAs to support client queries and audits

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all filings and client communications

Provide support during departmental notices and scrutiny assessments, if needed

Required Skills & Qualifications:

B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter or equivalent qualification

Minimum 2-4 years of experience in GST compliance and client servicing

Familiarity with GSTN portal, e-way bill portal, and e-invoicing systems

Working knowledge of accounting software like Tally, Zoho, or BUSY

Good communication skills and ability to explain technical tax matters in simple terms

Quick learner and up-to-date with recent changes in tax laws and procedures

Ability to manage multiple clients and tasks efficiently

Preferred:

Experience working in a CA firm or professional services environment

Exposure to handling departmental correspondence and notices

Basic knowledge of income tax and TDS compliance is an added advantage
