We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Guest Service Associate (GSA) for our Food & Beverage department in Mysuru, India. As a GSA - F&B, you will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional dining experiences for our guests while maintaining the highest standards of service and efficiency.
Greet and escort guests to their tables, providing a warm and professional welcome
Take food and beverage orders accurately, demonstrating knowledge of menu items and daily specials
Serve food and beverages promptly and according to established service standards
Maintain cleanliness and proper setup of tables, side stations, and dining areas
Process payments and handle cash and credit transactions efficiently
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food preparation
Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally
Upsell menu items and promote special offers to maximize revenue
Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP)
Assist in opening and closing procedures of the restaurant
Support other F&B outlets during peak times or as required
Attend regular team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on service standards and hotel policies
Qualifications
Service-focused personality with a passion for hospitality
Minimum 1 year of work experience in hotel operations or related food service role
Relevant degree or diploma in Hospitality or Tourism Management is preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Thorough knowledge of food and beverage service standards
Basic math skills for handling financial transactions
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Team player with a collaborative attitude
Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
