Job Description

The role is responsible for providing support to the RFP team within Columbia Threadneedle Investments, an Ameriprise Financial company. The role is for an experienced person to manage and complete RFPs, RFIs, DDQs and other documents across a broad range of actively managed asset classes, related to a) the growth of new business, b) the maintenance of existing business; to respond to ad hoc requests; to maintain qualitative content; and manage ad hoc team projects, as required.

Responsibilities:



1. Strong experience in institutional RFP writing for active strategies in the asset management industry

2. Proven RFP compilation, editing, proof reading and analytical skills

3. Works to manage RFP / RFI / DDQ questionnaires to ensure timely submission

4. Draft new content with information available and / or by collaborating with various subject matter experts within the client team

5. Contribute to the maintenance of content database by updating the tool with accurate information


6. Provide local team leadership by managing, mentoring, and developing team members, while fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture aligned with organizational goals

Required Qualifications:



1. Bachelor's degree in Finance/Economics/Business or any related fields and/or MBA (Finance)

2. 7 - 10 years of relevant experience in RFP for a global asset management firm

3. Good written and spoken English and application of English grammar; strong Word (editing) and Excel skills

4. Outstanding analytical skills and the ability to manage and interpret large amounts of data

5. Excellent organizational and project management skills to track and manage multiple deliverables with various process steps and deadlines

6. Team player and collaborative, but can also work autonomously, both with a critical focus on ensuring consistent delivery


7. Proven experience in leading teams, driving strategic initiatives, and influencing process improvements to enhance efficiency and deliver long-term value

Preferred Qualifications:



1. Ability to use and maintain content database - Qvidian
