We are searching for a talented, dynamic, hands-on Product Manager to be part of our exciting and fast-moving Workspace ONE Assist team, setting the strategy and roadmaps, collaborating closely with engineering, and delivering a best-in-class product for our customers. Success in the Role: What are the performance outcomes you will work toward completing In VMware, as a Senior Product Manager, you will work extensively with customers while also working cross functionally with Engineering, Product Marketing, and Sales to successfully identify market problems, define requirements for product enhancements that solve those market problems, prioritize features, and deliver the products that our customers need. Our products are growing rapidly in many directions, and you will have the opportunity to work on projects that are both compelling to you and valuable to our business. The Work: What type of work will you be doing What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis As we work with a range of leading-edge technologies, you will be continuously learning the latest developments in Anywhere workspaces, Digital Employee Experience and Remote Support tools to contribute to refining our product strategy. The essence of a product manager is to gather and deeply understand customer use cases, workflows and needs and create a prioritized set of requirements for Engineering and other parts of the organization to use to deliver a solution to customers. You will collaborate with engineers, designers, and other product managers to identify opportunities for new products, features, integrations, or improvements. For effective collaboration, excellent written and verbal communication is essential, whether discussing with internal colleagues, up the management chain, or discussing with customers for feedback and validation. Prioritization is absolutely essential for product managers and to product development. Choosing the right priority for product enhancements and making scope tradeoffs as necessary will be key to delivering value-add features and retaining customers. Success is measured by the customer adoption of your solution. To achieve this, you will meet with customers and customer-facing teams to understand their needs and pain points, as well as with colleagues across the company to understand their plans and how we can collaborate for customer success.
