Growth Marketing Intern (Gen Z Outreach)

Location: (Remote) | Type: Internship (Potential for FT)

The Mission: Phnk ("Funk") is an AI-driven social platform where users untangle thoughts with KAI, our AI companion. We need a digital native to bridge the gap between "cool app" and "daily habit" for US users.

The Role: "The Hyper-Connector"

Your job isn't to run ads; it's to go where the people are. You will be the boots-on-the-ground voice of Phnk, cross-posting, engaging, and "planting seeds" across digital communities to drive Gen Z users to the platform.

What You'll Do:

Strategic Cross-Posting:

Identify high-signal subreddits, Discord servers, and TikTok niches where Phnk's mission resonates.

Community Infiltration:

Engage authentically in conversations--don't just spam links. Turn "thought-tangled" users into Phnk early adopters.

Content Alchemy:

Remix product features into "shareable" moments (memes, threads, or short-form clips) that stop the scroll.

Feedback Loop:

Report back on what hooks users vs. what they ignore to help the product team pivot.

You know the difference between a "forced" trend and an organic one. You have high "Social IQ."

Relentless Experimenter:

You're happy to try 10 different angles on 5 different platforms to see what sticks.

Excellent Writer:

You can switch between "deeply empathetic" and "chaotic funny" depending on the platform.

Growth Mindset:

You care about the numbers--seeing the "User Count" go up gives you a rush.
