A University degree in law preferred but any degree; with experience and / or certifications such as CFE, CCEP, or CAMS desirable and
Minimum 12 years of post-qualification experience in Compliance Investigations or Audit; of which 5 years in compliance roles or leading Internal investigations in multinational organizations
Demonstrated expertise in navigating diverse regulatory environments, particularly in financial services
Strong auditing skills are preferred
Proven track record of influencing C-suite executives and driving organizational change
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex compliance concepts to diverse audiences
Fluency in English and proficiency in at least one additional language; German preferred
Operational Responsibilities:
Lead complex, multi-jurisdictional investigations into potential breaches of the Code of Conduct, ensuring adherence to local and international legal requirements
Spearhead the Compliance Review process across all Allianz Services entities:
Complete scheduled Compliance Reviews as per defined cycles and conduct ad hoc targeted reviews
Assess the design and operating effectiveness of the Compliance Management System in all entities
Ensure Compliance Functions and Management Systems align with Allianz Services requirements
Develop and implement a consistent process for performing Group Assessments:
Ensure timely and accurate completion of Group Assessments
Provide comprehensive results to relevant stakeholders
Conduct comprehensive compliance reviews to assess and enhance the effectiveness of Compliance Management Systems across global entities
Provide expert guidance and mentorship to Local Compliance Officers in Investigation practices, fostering a global community of practice
Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) for measuring the efficacy of compliance programs, investigations, and reviews
Liaise with external stakeholders, including regulators and law enforcement agencies, to manage compliance-related issues
Serve as custodian of all Investigation Reports and maintain a repository of documents relating to investigations and compliance reviews
