Enterprise Change, Resiliency & Sourcing Office (ECRSO) Risk Assessment & due diligence Team is responsible for the execution of BNY Mellon\'s Third-Party Risk Assessment activities at an enterprise level, including initial due diligence and the ongoing monitoring of third parties. Description As a Third-Party Risk Assessment Team Lead, you will report to the Global Head of Third-Party Risk Assessments and be responsible for managing, overseeing the third-party Risk assessors and support the implementation of Enterprise Sourcing office strategic initiatives for the bank. Assist risk assessors in assessing third-parties control environments, including the escalation and remediation of identified third-party issues with line of business (LoB) partners on the adequacy and effectiveness of third parties\' controls. The team is seeking a resolute, enthusiastic senior leader with a desire to produce high-quality work product to differentiate and drive firm-wide risk identification and mitigation. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: As a Third-Party Risk SME: Risk Assessment Team Lead role will help and maintain a sustainable and comprehensive third-party risk assessment process that will help the program to identify, monitor, remediate, and manage third party risks across the third-party lifecycle. Partner with Subject Matter Expert (SME) in key third-party risk domains & key functional areas. Provide support in Evaluating third-party control effectiveness and review evidence of controls by applying audit, compliance, security, and regulatory framework knowledge and experience, including, but not limited to review of: ISO 27001, SIG (Shared Assessments), SOC / equivalent reports, as well as knowledge of controls related to Privacy, Compliance, Business Resiliency, Cyber and other risk domains. Work with LoB partners, by navigating them through the different stages of the risk assessment life cycle and making sure that they are being compliant to the program requirements. Work with 2nd and 3rd Line Risk functions in identifying and remediating gaps related to the execution of the program Work with other ESO (Enterprise Sourcing Office) partners on improving current processes and partnering with them to bring improvements to our tool stack and to the overall process Partner with external assessment providers such as TruSight / KY3P in getting 3rd party assessments completed Role requires continuous Audit, regulatory support and demonstrate sustainability of the program by achievement of key milestones. As a people manager: Responsible for managing a group of Risk Assessors including hiring best in class talent, conduct performance reviews, partner on special enterprise projects through their team members as required and help set clear goals to the team. Risk Assessment Team Lead role requires good risk experience & expertise (areas of information security, business continuity, incident management, compliance, and human resource security) in assisting the Risk assessors in accurately scoring the inherent risk profile of 3rd parties, making sure the risk assessments are completed on time with quality. In addition, the role requires the ability to prioritize and drive workload. Manage required artifacts, perform quality control reviews, and support the end-to-end processing of third-party assessments. Develop working knowledge of the Bank of New York Mellon\'s operations and business services, as needed, to execute due diligence reviews and other risk activities. Required Skills / Experience: Experience in managing end to end third-party risk management life-cycle including but not limited to conducting third-party risk assessments as required Experience in reviewing third-party information in a variety of methods e.g. interviews, meetings, review of processes, manuals, and documentation is required. Experience in managing and responding to Audit and Regulatory inquiries. Knowledge of Information Security Principles includingencryption, firewalls, Data Loss Prevention solutions is required. Ability to plan, organize, prioritize and drive workload autonomously. Experience in GRC tools such as Archer, KY3P, SIG etc., and working knowledge of procurement tools such as Ivalua, Sirion Labs is an added advantage Experience driving solutions and working as part of a flexible, high-performing team. Outstanding interpersonal, written, and communication skills.
