Material receiving from suppliers / transporters
Verification of incoming parts (quantity/visual quality).
FIFO management / aging control.
Bin arrangement and parts tagging.
Physical storage and location discipline
Line-side material kitting (if applicable)
Parts issuing based on pick lists or plan
Support for inventory counting (cycle count / yearly)
Follow 5S and workplace safety
Identify and segregate abnormal parts
Timely escalation of shortages / damages / mix-ups
Compliance with storage SOPs and checklists
Basic documentation (stock movement slips, Kanban cards, etc.Lead internal logistics layout planning (storage, line-side, routes, docks)
Analyse takt time and model mix to define part supply strategies
Create and update logistics process designs (e.g., parts kitting, sequencing, milk-run)
Build comprehensive parts list (by variant, volume, delivery frequency)
Identify concession (floor, power, air, dock) needs based on layout and process
Interpret civil drawings and coordinate with civil team for modifications
Validate space allocation vs parts category (bulk, fragile, fast-moving, etc.)
Prepare concept and detailed layout using AutoCAD / VISIO / equivalent
Define equipment (racks, trollies, conveyors) requirements
Coordinate with equipment suppliers for layout fitment and specification finalization
Interface with plant construction, safety, production, and PE teams
Conduct internal approvals (IL, PE, Production, Safety) and external approvals if needed
Track layout change history and revision control
