Job Purpose
To consistently achieve PQCDMS targets on a shift basis in the respective unit.
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct sunrise and sunset meetings with team leaders to communicate daily targets, issues, and improvement actions.
Audit and improve workplace standards including 2S (Sort & Shine), Jishu Hozen (autonomous maintenance), and safety practices.
Monitor and optimize manpower deployment and organize necessary resources to ensure uninterrupted production.
Review painted parts sequence plan to ensure availability aligns with production requirements.
Conduct daily PDCA cycles to track and improve quality and delivery, ensuring process parameters remain within control limits.
Perform weekly audits on part and process standards (SDCA) and initiate corrective actions where deviations are found.
Resolve painting-related customer complaints and rework issues through root cause analysis and corrective measures.
Support EJO activities and provide feedback during new product or process trials; assist PED in the introduction of new models and variants.
Manage non-conforming products by identifying, controlling, and closing out issues to maintain product quality.
Drive continuous improvement through Revex, SIT/CFT, and QCC initiatives, while also mentoring team leaders and workmen on performance, attendance, and efficiency.
Education
Diploma engineer or Graduate engineer (Mechanical, Chemical, Production, Automobile).
Experience
5 - 10 years of experience for Diploma engineer and around 3 - 10 years of experience for Graduate engineer.
