1. Regulatory Compliance and Accreditation (The Most Critical Area)
Health Sciences Compliance:
Ensure rigorous adherence to all mandates, standards, and inspection requirements set by key regulatory bodies, including the
PCI (Pharmacy Council of India), INC (Indian Nursing Council), NMC/DCI (National Medical Commission/Dental Council of India)
for relevant courses, and other state/national health boards.
General Education Compliance:
Oversee compliance with state educational boards,
CBSE/ICSE/UGC, and AICTE
guidelines for the school and general college programs.
Audit Management:
Act as the primary liaison for all internal and external regulatory audits, inspections, and affiliation renewal processes.
Policy Development:
Draft, implement, and communicate comprehensive institutional policies ensuring ethical practices, student safety, and legal compliance across all colleges.
2. Administrative and Operational Oversight
Resource Allocation:
Manage and oversee the efficient allocation of shared resources (libraries, labs, transportation, IT) across all four institutions.
Infrastructure Management:
Supervise the maintenance, repair, and upgrade of all campus facilities, particularly ensuring that specialized laboratories, clinical settings, and technical equipment meet the strict standards required by the Pharmacy and Nursing councils.
Budget & Finance Support:
Collaborate with the Finance Department to manage operational budgets, control costs, and ensure efficient use of funds across all vertical units.
Record Management:
Oversee the integrity and confidentiality of all institutional records, including student admissions, academic transcripts, and staff personnel files.
3. Human Resources and Staff Coordination
Support Staff Supervision:
Directly manage and evaluate the performance of all non-academic, centralized staff (e.g., security, maintenance, front office, transport).
Recruitment Liaison:
Facilitate the non-academic hiring process, ensuring all required documentation and regulatory checks (e.g., background verification) are complete for all teaching and non-teaching hires across the group.
Inter-Departmental Coordination:
Ensure seamless communication and operational synergy between the heads of the four institutions (Principal, Dean, etc.).
4. Student Services and Stakeholder Relations
Student Administration:
Oversee administrative support for student registration, enrollment, ID processing, and graduation ceremonies for all colleges.
Discipline & Welfare:
Support the respective unit heads in managing severe student disciplinary issues, ensuring fair process and compliance with institutional rules.
Community Engagement:
Maintain professional relationships with external clinical partners, local hospitals, industry bodies, and community leaders.
Qualifications and Experience
Essential Qualifications
Education:
Master's Degree in
Educational Administration, Healthcare Management (MHA), Public Administration (MPA), or Business Administration (MBA)
.
Experience:
Minimum
8-10 years
of progressive administrative experience, with at least
5 years
in a senior administrative role managing a large, multi-disciplinary educational campus or a group of colleges, particularly those involving
health sciences (Nursing/Pharmacy)
.
Highly Desirable Experience
Previous experience directly handling
PCI, INC, or NMC/DCI
inspections and accreditation processes.
Background in academic planning or teaching in any one of the health science disciplines.
