Responsibilities:

Ability to manage complex groundwater projects/components A good understanding of water related issues in the environment and mining sector Excellent data interpretation skills and formulation of hydrogeological conceptual models Conceptual and numerical models Construction, calibration and processing of groundwater and contaminant transport models (principally MODFLOW and MT3D) for a variety of clients and purposes Knowledge and experience in Reporting Adept in development of project specific data management, analysis, and reporting needs. Knowledge of mapping and management of datasets and analysis techniques to support projects. Ability to handle data gathering/management, query and performs analysis. Developing figures and other deliverables. Preparation of draft plans/technical reports including: tables, metadata, and figures. Bachelor's degree or higher in GIS, Engineering, Geology, Hydrogeology, water resources or related field. 6 to 8+ years of groundwater modeling experience. Experience should include creating finite difference analysis models, working with GIS file formats, public data. Experience within the environmental consulting industry is a major plus. Programming knowledge (VBA, Python, or other) Must possess good knowledge with MODFLOW and Microsoft Office products. Must have an understanding of coordinate systems and projections, the ability to troubleshoot technology, and a solid understanding of modeling principles. Must be a self-directed, problem solver capable of successfully managing competing priorities.
