We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a
School Ground Coordinator
in Gumla. This is an on-ground support role, ideal for fresh graduates or individuals with up to 6 months of experience who are passionate about working in the education sector and supporting the daily functioning of schools.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist school staff in daily operations and administrative tasks.
Coordinate school-level activities, events, and programs.
Maintain records of student attendance, school materials, and inventory.
Support in organizing co-curricular and extracurricular activities.
Ensure smooth communication between teachers, students, and program teams.
Help manage logistics for training sessions, workshops, and meetings.
Visit assigned schools regularly and ensure consistent on-ground presence.
Submit daily/weekly activity reports to the supervisor.
Maintain discipline and support teachers during school hours, if required.
Qualifications:
Minimum 10+2 (Intermediate); Graduate preferred.
Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, email, etc.) is desirable.
Ability to travel locally within Gumla district.
Skills and Competencies:
Good communication and interpersonal skills in Hindi (knowledge of local tribal language is a plus).
Eagerness to learn and work with children and educators.
Team player with a proactive approach.
Punctual, responsible, and organized.
Preferred:
Local candidates from Gumla or nearby blocks.
Prior volunteer experience in school or community-based initiatives (even if informal).
