GRN Officer (Goods Receipt Note Officer) - Roles & Responsibilities (with Gofrugal ERP)Roles



Goods Verification

- Verify incoming goods with purchase order & supplier invoice using

Gofrugal ERP

.

ERP Documentation

- Create accurate

GRN entries

in Gofrugal ERP for every stock inward.

Inventory Management

- Update stock in ERP to maintain correct

real-time inventory

.

Coordination

- Work with purchase, warehouse, sales, and accounts teams through ERP.

Reporting

- Generate GRN, stock inward, pending order, and return reports via ERP.

Responsibilities in Retail



Record

inward goods

in Gofrugal ERP against purchase orders. Verify

batch no, MRP, expiry date, barcode

in ERP before accepting goods. Ensure correct stock reflection in ERP for shelves & warehouse. Mark and process

returns/rejections

through ERP. Generate

daily GRN reports

for purchase/accounts team.

Responsibilities in Wholesale



Create GRN in ERP for

bulk inward consignments

. Match supplier challan & invoice with ERP purchase order. Update

packing details, weight, and quantities

in ERP. Coordinate with transport & warehouse staff; record damages/shortage in ERP. Share GRN reports with accounts for

invoice verification & supplier payment

. Support

stock audits

using ERP reports.

Key Requirement:


The GRN Officer must be skilled in using

Gofrugal ERP (Purchase & Inventory Modules)

for:

Purchase Order ? GRN ? Stock Update ? Invoice Matching ? Return Entry.

Qualification Requirements



Education

: Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in

Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or relevant field

.

+2 / Higher Secondary

with strong experience in stock handling & ERP can also be considered.

Technical Skills

: Hands-on experience in

Gofrugal ERP

(Purchase, GRN, Inventory modules). Knowledge of

MS Excel / MS Office

for reports. Basic accounting knowledge (invoice matching, tax details, vendor reconciliation).

Experience

: 1-3 years experience in

retail/wholesale stock inward, warehouse, or purchase department

. Freshers with

ERP training / certification

may also be considered.

Other Skills

: Strong attention to detail for checking

expiry, MRP, batch, quantity

. Good communication skills to coordinate with

purchase, accounts, and vendors

. Ability to work in

fast-paced retail/wholesale environment

.
