Job Title:

Grinding Machine Operator

Job Summary:

The Grinding Operator is responsible for operating grinding machines to produce precision metal parts and components according to specifications. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to maintain quality and efficiency in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate various grinding machines (surface, cylindrical, centerless, etc.) to meet production requirements. Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and job instructions. Measure and inspect finished parts using precision instruments (micrometers, calipers, gauges) to ensure compliance with tolerances. Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed to maintain quality and productivity. Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines and work area. Follow all safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment. Record production data and report any issues or deviations to the supervisor.

Qualifications & Skills:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in machining preferred. Minimum 1-2 years of experience operating grinding machines in a manufacturing setting. Knowledge of grinding techniques, materials, and tooling. Ability to use precision measuring instruments and interpret technical drawings. Strong attention to detail and quality standards. Good physical stamina and ability to work in a standing position for extended periods.

Working Conditions:

Manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, and machinery. Requires use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
