Job Summary

:

We are looking for a Greeter who is the first point of contact for customers entering the jewellery showroom. They are responsible for welcoming guests, directing them to the appropriate sales executive, and ensuring a positive first impression. This role is essential in maintaining a warm, professional, and secure showroom environment.

Key Responsibilities

:

1. Customer Welcome & First Impression

:

Greet every customer entering the store with a warm, polite, and professional attitude. Open the door for customers and assist them as needed (e.g., elderly customers).

2. Guest Handling & Coordination

:

Identify customer needs and direct them to the appropriate sales executive or department (e.g., gold, diamond, bridal jewellery). Maintain a log of walk-in customers and their basic details for internal tracking. Manage the customer queue during busy hours and ensure timely attention.

3. Ambience & Hospitality

:

Offer refreshments (as per store policy) and ensure customers are comfortable while waiting. Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the entrance and reception area. Manage customer footwear and other protocols if applicable (in traditional or cultural settings).

4. Security Awareness

:

Observe customer activity and report any suspicious behavior to the store security or manager. Ensure customer KYC procedures (if applicable) are initiated properly.

5. Communication & Coordination

:

Maintain clear communication with sales staff to reduce customer wait time. Coordinate with floor managers for VIP customer arrivals or appointments.

Key Skills & Competencies

:

Pleasant personality with strong interpersonal skills Good communication in local language + basic English or Hindi Groomed and professional appearance Patience and calm under pressure Basic understanding of jewellery showroom operations (training will be provided)

Qualifications

:

Minimum 12th pass; diploma or degree in hospitality or retail (preferred) Experience in retail, hospitality, or customer-facing roles is an advantage

Showroom/front desk area Standing role with extended hours during weekends/festive seasons Uniform/grooming standards as per company policy
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
