Urgent Requirement General Manager Plant Operations

Your Impact:
In order to ensure effective production, optimal resource utilisation, adherence to strict quality and safety standards unique to injection moulding, and the accomplishment of plant-level financial and operational targets, you will have complete operational and strategic responsibility for every aspect of the injection moulding plant. An experienced manufacturing leader with a thorough understanding of injection moulding procedures, a track record of advancing operational excellence in this specialised field, the ability to manage sizable teams, and the ability to carry out strategic initiatives in a challenging injection moulding environment will be the ideal candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all injection moulding production activities, ensuring adherence to production schedules, quality standards specific to plastic parts, and cost targets (resin management).
Drive continuous improvement initiatives throughout the plant using lean manufacturing principles and other methodologies tailored to injection moulding processes to optimize cycle times, reduce scrap, and improve material utilization.
Ensure full compliance with all EHS regulations relevant to plastics processing and promote a strong safety culture throughout the plant, adhering to local and national guidelines in India.
Identify and mitigate operational risks specific to injection moulding (e.g., resin availability, tooling failures) and ensure business continuity.
Represent the plant within the broader organizational structure and communicate plant performance and strategic initiatives related to injection moulding to senior management.
What you Need:
Exceptional leadership, communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
Proven ability to develop and implement strategic initiatives within an injection moulding environment.
Experience with implementing continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma) in injection moulding operations.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities related to injection moulding challenges.
Educational Qualification: Any BE Degree 
Experience: 10 to 12
