Senior Role HOD Moulding Production Management

Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of the injection moulding manufacturing division at our Chennai site, ensuring that output is of a high calibre, workflow is efficient, and production targets are fulfilled.
Lead and manage a large group of moulding supervisors, operators, technicians, and support staff in line with Chennai's work culture by setting clear objectives, allocating responsibilities effectively, and fostering a competent, safe, and productive work environment.
Establish, carry out, and improve production schedules to ensure the timely delivery of moulded components while maximising machine utilisation and minimising downtime in our Chennai factory.
Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for moulding production, such as cycle times, first-pass yield, material consumption, and machine efficiency, to aid in our ongoing attempts to enhance our Chennai operations.
Skills:
shown team management and leadership abilities, with the capacity to inspire and nurture a sizable and talented shaping crew in Chennai.
Outstanding analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills to handle challenging technical and operational issues in the moulding shop.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organising abilities to work well with a variety of stakeholders in our Chennai plant.
comprehensive understanding of the environmental compliance requirements and safety laws that apply to injection moulding operations in India, especially in Tamil Nadu.
