Your Impact:
You will be responsible for receiving, storing, issuing, and maintaining accurate records of all items in the store, ensuring efficient material flow and minimizing discrepancies. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess good organizational and communication skills (both English and Tamil), and have a basic understanding of inventory management principles.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive and inspect incoming materials, verifying quantities and ensuring they match purchase orders and delivery documents.
Properly store materials in designated locations within the stores, ensuring easy access and retrieval.
Issue materials to production departments or authorized personnel based on requisitions and maintain accurate issue records.
Maintain accurate inventory records, both manually and electronically, tracking stock levels, movements, and locations.
Conduct regular stock checks and participate in periodic inventory counts to ensure accuracy.
Identify and report any discrepancies in inventory levels or damaged materials to the supervisor.
What you Need:
Attention to detail and accuracy in receiving, issuing, and storing materials.
Ability to operate basic material handling equipment (e.g., hand trucks, pallet jacks) safely. Certification is a plus.
Basic computer literacy for data entry and inventory tracking using software or spreadsheets.
Educational Qualification: Diploma/BE in Mech
