Join as Paintshop HOD Drive Quality and Productivity

To oversee and manage every aspect of our paintshop facility in Chennai, we are looking for a highly qualified and results-driven Head of Department (HOD). Assuring the effective, superior, and secure application of paint finishes to our goods while fulfilling client requirements and production goals will be your responsibility. Strong technical and operational management abilities, a thorough understanding of paint application procedures, and the capacity to promote departmental continuous improvement are all necessary for this leadership position.
Responsibilities
Assign the Paintshop department strategic leadership and direction, coordinating its aims with the manufacturing and quality objectives of the entire organisation.
Oversee the pre-treatment, painting (both human and automated), curing, and post-painting inspections phases of the paint application process.
Oversee and lead a group of operators, technicians, supervisors, and support personnel in a paint shop, creating a productive, cooperative, and upbeat work atmosphere.
To obtain the required gloss and longevity, make sure that strict quality standards are followed by putting quality control measures in place and keeping an eye on them during the entire painting process.
Encourage continuous improvement projects to streamline paint application procedures, cut down on paint usage, lessen rework, speed up cycle times, and increase overall effectiveness.
Skills:
Strong understanding of quality standards related to painted surfaces
Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse workforce.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.  
Experience with implementing continuous improvement methodologies
Educational Qualification: Any BE Degree
Experience: 8+ yrs
Salary: Based on Previous work Experience
