Head of Production for Moulding in a Senior Role

Focus: Highlight the key competencies of managing a sizable workforce, driving injection moulding production, streamlining procedures, and guaranteeing quality and efficiency in a plastics manufacturing setting situated in Chennai.
Experience: 8 to 10 yrs
What you’ll Do:
Oversee every facet of our Chennai facility's injection moulding manufacturing division, making sure that production goals are met, workflow is effective, and output is of a high calibre.
In accordance with Chennai's work culture, lead and oversee a sizable team of moulding supervisors, operators, technicians, and support personnel by establishing goals, assigning tasks efficiently, and cultivating a good work atmosphere.
Create, implement, and optimise production schedules to maximise machine utilisation and minimise downtime in our Chennai factory while guaranteeing the timely supply of moulded components.
To support continuous improvement efforts in our Chennai operations, set and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for moulding production, such as cycle times, first-pass yield, material consumption, and machine efficiency.
Assure tight adherence to customer requirements, industry norms, and quality standards for injection-molded parts made at our Chennai factory.
What you need:
strong knowledge of injection moulding process optimisation techniques, defect analysis, and quality standards.
shown team management and leadership abilities, with the capacity to inspire and nurture a sizable and talented shaping crew in Chennai.
Outstanding analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills to handle challenging technical and operational issues in the moulding shop.
