Enter the Welding Trade with ITI Welder Jobs

Primary Task: To contribute to the fabrication, assembly, and repair of metal structures and products within our Chennai operations by performing a variety of welding activities and joining metal components in accordance with drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
Responsibilities
To get the desired weld quality and strength, set up the welding equipment, choose the right welding rods or wires, and adjust the settings.
As required for various fabrication projects in Chennai, weld components in various orientations (horizontal, vertical, and overhead).
Use the information in the blueprints to plan and carry out welding tasks.
Using the proper tools and equipment, measure and cut materials to the necessary dimensions.
To guarantee compliance with quality requirements in Chennai, visually check and measure welds for flaws such cracks, porosity, and incomplete fusion.
Keep our welding equipment in excellent operating order by carrying out routine maintenance and reporting any issues or repairs that need to be made at our Chennai location.
Required Abilities:
Proficiency in at least one or more welding processes (ARC, MIG, TIG, gas welding).
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and welding symbols.
Skill in using various welding tools and equipment safely and effectively.
Knowledge of different types of metals and their welding characteristics.

Qualification: Any ITI Degree
