In Chennai, we are looking for a proficient and meticulous Payment Posting Executive to join our medical billing team. It will be your duty to accurately enter payments that patients and insurance companies make into our billing system. In addition to ensuring proper revenue recognition, this vital position supports our clients' practices' overall financial stability.
Responsibilities
Post payments into the medical billing system accurately from patient payments, Electronic Remittance Advices (ERAs), and Explanation of Benefits (EOBs).
Check the correctness of the payments against the relevant remittance information and claims.
In accordance with payer requirements, appropriately post contractual modifications and denials.
Ensure precise balancing by preparing and reconciling daily payment batches.
Respect the company's payment processing and data security rules and procedures.
Achieve the accuracy and productivity goals for payment posting on a daily and weekly basis.
Discuss payment-related concerns with the other members of the billing team in an efficient manner.
Skills:
strong knowledge of medical payment cycles and billing procedures.
the capacity to correctly read Electronic Remittance Advices (ERAs) and Explanations of Benefits (EOBs).
Outstanding data input abilities with a high level of precision and speed.
Educational Qualification: Any Basic Degree
Experience: 3+ yrs
