Become a member of our committed Payment Posting team at our Chennai-based company and help us precisely record and reconcile payments from patients and insurance companies. Your accuracy and effectiveness will have a direct effect on our financial reporting and revenue recognition.
Responsibilities:
Post insurance company and patient payments into the medical billing system accurately while following deadlines and set protocols.
To guarantee proper payment application, go over and understand Electronic Remittance Advices (ERAs) and Explanation of Benefits (EOBs).
Notify the supervisor or the appropriate department of any odd payment patterns or possible problems.
Keep up-to-date knowledge of the payer laws and guidelines pertaining to Indian payment processing.
Assure correct data input and keep track of all payment-related paperwork in an orderly manner.
Reach or surpass departmental goals for accuracy and productivity.
Qualification:
Strong understanding of medical billing processes, payment cycles, and EOB/ERA interpretation specific to India.
Excellent data entry skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Basic understanding of accounting principles and reconciliation processes.
Familiarity with medical billing software and electronic health records (EHR) systems commonly used in India.
Education: Any Basic Graduation
Experience: 0 to 3 yrs
