Your Impact:
We are looking for an Assistant Manager with drive and creativity to join our New Product Development (NPD) division. Driving the creation and introduction of new products from concept to commercialisation will be a major responsibility of yours. The ideal applicant will have a solid grasp of the procedures involved in product development, project management abilities, industry-relevant technical acumen, and the capacity to work well with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the development and execution of the new product development strategy for our Chennai-based manufacturing operations.
Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets for new product development initiatives.
Track project progress, identify potential roadblocks, and propose solutions to ensure timely and successful product launches.
Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and competitor activities in the manufacturing sector, particularly within the Chennai ecosystem.
Support the management of intellectual property related to new product development.
What you Need:
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify challenges and propose solutions during the development process.
Familiarity with product lifecycle management (PLM) software is a plus.
Understanding of design thinking and innovation methodologies.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in Chennai.
Educational Qualification: Any BE Degree 
Experience: 5 to 7 yrs
