Focus: To guarantee a steady supply of electricity in an industrial, commercial, or residential environment in Chennai, place a strong emphasis on the fundamental abilities of running, maintaining, and troubleshooting Diesel Generator (DG) sets. Emphasise effective functioning and adherence to safety regulations.
Experience: 2 to 4 yrs
What you’ll Do:
In our Chennai facility/site, operate and keep an eye on Diesel Generator (DG) sets in accordance with established protocols and safety regulations.
Respect all safety rules and guidelines pertaining to the operation and upkeep of DG sets, especially those pertaining to electrical and fire safety that are pertinent in Chennai.
Keep the DG set room or area in our Chennai plant or site tidy and orderly.
In order to restore electricity to our Chennai activities, we must react to power outages quickly and efficiently, making sure that DG sets are started safely and on time.
Regularly inspect related devices, such as Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS), to make sure they are operating correctly in tandem with Chennai's DG sets.
What you need:
Ability to perform routine checks and preventive maintenance tasks effectively.
Skill in starting and stopping DG sets according to established procedures.
Ability to monitor DG set parameters and identify potential issues.
Basic troubleshooting skills for common DG set operational problems.
