About this opportunity Align Technology is looking for a Sr ServiceNow GRC Developer to provide design and development support for our Information Security, Technology Governance Risk and Compliance team. This position will be heavily focused on leading our ServiceNow GRC module development and associated service portal pages. It will collaborate with the Information Security department to determine and execute on the best approach to deliver on the requirements of the Information Security team while adhering to best practices for ServiceNow design, architecture, configuration, and implementation strategies. In this role, you will

• Design and develop within various ServiceNow GRC modules to meet Information Security’s requirements, including implementation of client scripts, business rules, workflows, and custom Service Portal widgets
• Collaborate with Align ServiceNow Platform team to implement module updates including re-applying existing and new customizations within GRC module
• Work independently to achieve assigned tasks and goals, interacting with key stakeholders to refine requirements and demonstrate work status.
• Maintain a list of requests and customizations to the GRC module include status on design, development, and implementation of each of these requests.
• Provide weekly status reports on work and progress of longer term objectives
• Respond to technical support questions regarding the use of GRC modules that you maintain
• Perform regression testing for changes being applied by the other ServiceNow platform teams within Align
• Document and maintain functional business requirements, process flows, and business use cases.
• Develop systems integrating ServiceNow with third-party software using REST/SOAP, including scripted web services, MID servers.
• Leverage expert JavaScripting knowledge, including debugging knowledge, to support development.
• Maintain knowledge of industry best practices and new technologies and recommend innovations that enhance operations
• Build partnership with regional IT, Service Desk, and other GSME team members to drive the long-term strategy toward service architecture as applicable for Align Technology

In this role, you’ll need

• 8+ years of IT relevant experience
• 4+ years of ServiceNow development experience
• 2+ years of development experience in ServiceNow GRC module
• Experience in developing for the Service Portal in ServiceNow
• Experience with Automated Test Framework (ATF) and Performance Analytics reporting
• Excellent organization skills
• Good communication and presentation skills
• ServiceNow Admin Certification (CSA) highly preferred or willing to acquire
• ServiceNow Certified Implementation certifications are a plus
• Experience with various coding languages used by the platform, such as JavaScript, HTML AJAX, XML, REST, SOAP highly preferred
• In-depth knowledge of development on the ServiceNow GRC platform, including client and server scripting, ServiceNow REST APIs, and custom widget development in Service Portal
