SMTS SILICON DESIGN ENGINEER
THE ROLE:
The focus of this role is to plan, build, and execute the verification of new and existing features for AMD's graphics processor IP, resulting in no bugs in the final design.
THE PERSON:
A successful candidate will work with Architects and Design Leads to understand the modeling requirements. The candidate will be highly accurate and detail-oriented, possessing good communication and problem-solving skills. Candidate is supposed to work closely with RTL and DV leads to address the regression failures and etc.. in addition to features modeling
KEY RESPONSIBLITIES:

• Graphics IP Architecture and Functional Modeling
• Shader, Cache and Memory Subsystem Modeling
• Modeling and Debugging Skills

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• Experience in C/C++
• Strong programming in C++
• Strong in Computer Architecture, Cache, and memory management
• Functional modeling of GPU, CPU Blocks.
• Experience working with RTL designers/DV team for next generation features development
• Experience working in cross functional teams

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

• Bachelors or Masters or PhD degree in computer engineering/Electrical Engineering
