We are looking for a skilled Graphic Designer with 2-5 years of experience who can turn ideas and marketing briefs into visually compelling designs. The ideal candidate will work closely with copywriters, social media strategists, and clients to create a variety of assets -- from social media posts and ads to banners, logos, brand kits, and digital collateral. You should be comfortable handling multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced agency environment.
Key Responsibilities
o Design visually appealing graphics for social media posts, carousel images, stories, ads, infographics, banners, email campaigns, websites, etc. o Create and manage brand identity assets (logos, brand color palettes, typography guidelines, templates) for clients and internal projects. o Work with copywriters, content strategists, marketers, and clients to understand briefs and translate them into effective designs. o Produce design deliverables according to briefs, with high attention to detail -- including layout, typography, color harmony, and image editing/optimization. o Ensure all designs are optimized for multiple platforms (desktop, mobile, social media) and comply with platform specifications. o Maintain consistency in design quality and brand identity across projects. o Manage multiple projects and deadlines, deliver assets on time, and communicate proactively about progress or delays. o Incorporate feedback from senior designers or clients and iterate designs quickly and efficiently. o Stay updated on design trends, social media platform changes, and best practices -- bring fresh ideas and creative suggestions to the team. o Occasionally assist with motion graphics, short video editing, or animated social media posts (if skills allow or can learn).
Required Skills & Qualifications
o 2-5 years of professional experience in graphic design, preferably in a digital marketing, branding, or agency environment. o Strong command of design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe InDesign (or equivalent). o Solid understanding of visual design principles -- layout, typography, colour theory, composition, visual hierarchy, and branding. o Portfolio showcasing a range of design work: social media graphics, ads, logos/branding, web/digital collateral. o Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously. o Good communication skills: ability to understand briefs, ask clarifying questions, receive feedback constructively, and communicate design ideas clearly. o Basic knowledge of social media platforms and their design/asset requirements (e.g. Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube thumbnails, etc.). o Keen eye for detail and consistency.
Preferred / Bonus Skills
o Experience with motion graphics or video editing (e.g. Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar). o Understanding of UI/UX design fundamentals or web design basics (responsive design, layout for web, banners, etc.). o Familiarity with content creation trends, social media marketing, and digital advertising. o Ability to conceptualize creative campaigns -- not just execute designs but contribute ideas. o Experience with brand strategy, branding projects, or working directly with clients. o Experience or interest in working in a fast-paced, startup-like agency environment.
