The Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating visually appealing and compliant designs for marketing, branding, product packaging, promotional materials, digital campaigns, and internal communication. The role requires creativity along with a strong understanding of pharmaceutical branding guidelines, regulatory requirements, and technical accuracy.
2. Key Responsibilities
A. Design & Creativity
Develop creative designs for product labels, cartons, packaging, brochures, leaflets, visual aids, and promotional materials.
Create digital content such as social media creatives, website banners, emailers, and digital presentations.
Design internal communication materials--posters, signage, newsletters, manuals, etc.
Collaborate with marketing and product teams to conceptualize campaign ideas and brand themes.
B. Branding & Compliance
Ensure all designs are aligned with company branding guidelines.
Incorporate mandatory pharmaceutical regulatory content (composition, dosage, warnings, copyright notes, etc.).
Maintain accuracy in design elements, product details, and pack specifications.
Ensure timely revisions based on feedback from QA/RA/Marketing departments.
C. Production Coordination
Coordinate with printing vendors for proof checking and final artwork approval.
Prepare print-ready files (CMYK mode, bleed settings, die-cuts, etc.).
Review color match, print quality, and finishing standards.
D. Documentation & Record Keeping
Maintain an updated repository of artworks, working files, and version history.
Ensure proper documentation of all approved artworks for audit and compliance.
3. Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Multimedia, or related field.
Proficiency in design software: Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, CorelDRAW (preferred for pharma packaging).
Strong understanding of typography, layout, color theory, and packaging design principles.
Minimum
2-5 years of experience
, preferably in pharmaceutical or FMCG packaging design.
Knowledge of pharma regulatory requirements is an advantage.
Ability to work under tight timelines and handle multiple design projects.
