Required Qualifications and Skills

Education:

Often a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field (though experience can sometimes substitute).

Technical Proficiency (Software Mastery):

Expert-level knowledge of the

Adobe Creative Suite

(Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). Proficiency in other relevant design and prototyping tools like

Figma

or

Sketch

(especially for digital/web roles).

Portfolio:

A strong, professional portfolio demonstrating creativity, technical skill, and successful solutions for a variety of projects.

Design Fundamentals:

Deep understanding of typography, color theory, layout, composition, and visual hierarchy. Knowledge of print production processes or responsive web design/UX/UI principles (depending on the role).

Soft Skills:

Excellent

communication

and presentation skills (verbal and written). Strong

time management

and organizational abilities. Keen

attention to detail

and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
