Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented and creative

Freelance Video Editor

to join our team on a project or retainer basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of editing techniques, storytelling, and brand consistency to deliver visually compelling videos that resonate with our audience.

Key Responsibilities:

Edit raw footage into polished video content for social media (Reels, Shorts, YouTube), advertisements, and campaigns Add transitions, effects, text overlays, background music, and voiceovers as required Collaborate with the marketing and content team to understand project goals Ensure brand style and tone is consistent across all videos Manage deadlines and deliver edits in a timely manner Make revisions based on feedback

Requirements:

Proven experience as a video editor (share portfolio or links) Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, or similar software Understanding of social media trends and content formats (especially Instagram Reels & YouTube Shorts) Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects Strong communication and collaboration skills Basic color grading, audio mixing, and motion graphics knowledge is a plus

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience editing fashion/lifestyle content Knowledge of vertical format video editing Animation or graphic design skills are a bonus

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?20,000.00 per month
