Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and musically literate Music Notation Video Editor to create engaging and educational video content that visually represents music notation. This role involves syncing sheet music with audio, animating notation, and producing clear, informative videos for musicians, students, and educators.

Key Responsibilities:

Edit and animate music notation videos using software like Finale, Sibelius, MuseScore, or Dorico Sync visual notation with audio recordings or MIDI files Create instructional overlays, highlights, and annotations to enhance learning Collaborate with music educators, composers, and content creators Format content for various platforms (YouTube, educational apps, online courses) Ensure accuracy in musical representation and timing Maintain a consistent visual style and branding across all content
Requirements:

Strong understanding of music theory and notation Experience with music notation software (e.g., MuseScore, Finale, Sibelius, Dorico) Proficiency in video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro) Ability to sync audio with visual notation precisely Attention to detail and a passion for music education Good communication and time management skills
Preferred Qualifications:

Background in music education or performance Experience creating content for music learning platforms Familiarity with animation tools for visualizing music (e.g., Noteflight, Flat.io) Basic audio editing skills
