We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team in Klambakkam, Chennai. The ideal candidate will have experience in editing short-form videos (especially Instagram reels, corporate videos, and podcasts) and a passion for storytelling that resonates with our niche clients such as doctors and entrepreneurs.
Key Responsibilities:
Edit and assemble raw video clips into engaging social media content tailored for platforms like Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook.
Incorporate motion graphics, text overlays, subtitles, and sound effects to enhance video quality and viewer engagement.
Collaborate with content creators and scriptwriters to ensure the video aligns with the client's branding and messaging.
Manage and organize video files efficiently for quick turnaround times.
Ensure final videos meet technical standards and deadlines.
Stay updated with the latest trends in social media video content and editing techniques.
Apply basic design skills to enhance visual appeal, including Photoshop or Canva usage.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in video editing for social media platforms.
Proficiency in software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, or equivalent.
Basic skills in graphic design tools like Photoshop and Canva.
Understanding of social media content formats and audience engagement strategies.
Strong attention to detail and creativity.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with a creative team.
