About the Role:
Seeking a talented and versatile Visual Designer and Video Editor to create engaging visual
and video content that amplifies various initiatives across social media, internal
communications, and public-facing events. The role requires creativity, technical
proficiency, and a good understanding of communication objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Visual Design:
Develop compelling graphics, infographics, and presentations for social media, press
releases, websites, and internal project updates.
Create visual identities and assets for events, campaigns, and key initiatives
(banners, brochures, posters, standees, event invites).
Ensure brand consistency across all visual communications aligned with brand
guidelines.
Video Editing & Production:
Create short-form and long-form videos for social media platforms (Instagram,
LinkedIn, YouTube), including reels, explainers, interviews, and event highlights.
Capture and edit event footage into impactful videos for post-event promotions and
archival purposes.
Work closely with the PR and project teams to develop storyboards, scripts, and shot
lists as needed.
Add animations, graphics, subtitles, and other enhancements to maximize content
engagement.
Content Collaboration & Management:
Work closely with the Communications, PR, and Event Management teams to align
visuals with project narratives and updates.
Manage digital asset libraries and maintain organized archives of all content created.
Stay updated on social media trends and recommend new formats/styles to enhance
audience engagement.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Multimedia, or a
related field.
3 years of proven experience in visual design and video editing.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After
Effects), Canva, or equivalent tools.
Strong eye for design aesthetics, typography, colour, and layout.
Experience editing videos for social media with attention to platform-specific best
practices.
Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication skills and ability to understand briefs and translate them
into creative output.
Familiarity with government, technology, and startup ecosystem communication will
be an added advantage.
Preferred (Good to Have):
Experience working with or creating content for public sector/IT/startup ecosystem.
Photography and basic animation skills.
Familiarity with motion graphics and reels-first content production.
