Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and creative Graphic Designer with a strong background in documentary filmmaking, video editing, and visual content development for government-related projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and delivering engaging visuals, infographics, and video content that effectively communicate complex ideas to a broad audience. Experience in working with government agencies or public sector projects is a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and produce high-quality graphics and visual content for use in documentaries, presentations, reports, and government communications.

Assist in the concept development, storyboarding, and production of short films, interviews, and documentaries.

Edit raw video footage into polished, professional content using software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.

Create motion graphics, intros/outros, title sequences, and other visual assets as needed.

Collaborate with scriptwriters, researchers, and government departments to ensure visual accuracy and branding consistency.

Design layouts for print and digital reports, brochures, infographics, and promotional materials.

Maintain and organize a digital asset library for ongoing and future projects.

Ensure final outputs meet quality standards, comply with government guidelines, and are delivered on time.

Qualifications & Skills:

Degree/Diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Multimedia, or a related field.

2+ years of proven experience in graphic design and video editing, preferably within documentary or government content development.

Proficient in tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro).

Strong sense of visual storytelling and creative design thinking.

Experience working with government organizations or NGOs is highly desirable.

Understanding of design for accessibility and inclusivity in public sector communications.

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.
